Ten Commandments Song

For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Praise report! We got the new version of the Ten Commandments Song back from the studio, with real singers this time instead of robots. Doug and Frances gave an inspired performance on this track!

I had prayed and asked the Lord if He would like to send a good Christian lyricist to go with my music. Then a short while later, by His grace this classic text by Isaac Watts came across my path which perfectly fit the music. So I guess my writing partner is from the 1700's!

Dr. Watts was an enormously gifted poet who set almost the entire Psalter to verse, among others. He is known for such hymns as "Joy to the World", "Jesus Shall Reign Where’er the Sun", and "O God, Our Help in Ages Past".

Change a life

The devil hates the Ten Commandments. Why?

If it is true that we need to understand the bad news before we can understand the good news of the Gospel and what we are being saved from1, and if it is true that our current society may be lacking many tools to bring such a message2, and if it is true that the needed medicine can be taught effectively with the sweetness of music3, then many hearts can be blessed with songs like these, if the Lord is willing. Please join me in prayer that the Lord will pour out His Spirit in revival!

"Everyone has lied, coveted, stolen, lusted, blasphemed, and idolized, so righteous God must execute justice and punish all with eternal hellfire. The good news is, JESUS WANTS TO FORGIVE, KNOW, CHANGE, AND LOVE YOU." - (A. Pouratian)

You can change a life with your music. Remix this song with an impactful Christian message.

Two excellent examples of vibrant chill remixes of other songs are "Sunday Morning (Y2 morrow Remix)" and "Sensimilla (Asif Remix)".

There is a song about the Ten Commandments that I think is better than ours, "Ten Commandment Boogie" by Go Fish, but it is not free.

Our free sheet music is available here.

The original Youtube video with the singing robots is here.

May the Lord bless you!
